Terms and Conditions
Contract: the hiring contract is made between the accommodation provider and the hirer and is entered into as soon as the deposit is processed and the confirmation letter sent any booking will be made subject to the following conditions.
- Purpose of letting. The accommodation must be used by the hirer for short term holiday purposes only.
- Payment. A deposit of £100.00 pounds from the rental cost is required within 7 days of the booking being confirmed. The balance payment is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Bookings made up to 6 weeks prior to to the arrival date will need to be paid in full within 7 days of the booking date. Please make all cheques payable to Cwmwdig Farm Cottage.
- Period of hire: entry to the cottage will be from 4pm (or earlier by arrangement) on the day of arrival and vacation by 10.30 am on the day of departure.
- Number of persons using the cottage: under no circumstances can the number of persons using the cottage exceed the number which can be accommodated.
- Care of the cottage: the hirer is responsible for the accommodation and undertakes to take all reasonable and proper care of it. On leaving it must be left clean and tidy and in the same state of repair as on the arrival date. Any breakages or damage must be made known to the accommodation provider before departure and any cost reimbursed.
- Liability: the cottage is provided as advertised and no liability can be accepted for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal property however caused.
- Linen: sheets duvets pillowcases towels and tea towels are included in the rental cost.
- All electricity is included in the cost
- Heating; is set to be on 7am to 10.30 am and 3pm till 11pm hot water is always on as it is a combination boiler. It can be arranged to be on constantly but unfortunately due to the high cost of LPG an additional charge of £ 30.00 a week would have to be made. A basket of logs for the fire is provided at the start of your stay and are available locally.
- Strictly no smoking inside the cottage please
- Right of entry the accommodation provider or their representative shall be allowed the right of entry to the accommodation at all reasonable times for the purpose of maintenance.
- Should a complaint arise during your stay please make Pip aware and she will try and rectify the situation.
- Cancellation by guests: The deposit is non-refundable, however if a re - let is successful the remaining balance if already paid will be refunded. Otherwise all monies paid become non refundable. You may like to consider taking out cancellation insurance.
